Some sound cards (particularly ISA devices) aren't automatically detected but can be still be configured with the sndconfig utility.

sndconfig is a command-line program which can be installed from the L-M Installation CD.

You must be "root" to use sndconfig so press Alt-Ctrl-F2 to switch to a console, then login with root's password.

The command "sndconfig" will start the application.
